As we enter into an exciting stage of growth for the company, we are looking for a talented and passionate Junior art director/graphic designer to join our creative team.

Job Overview

As a Junior art director/graphic designer, you will play a crucial role in developing visually stunning and cohesive design solutions and campaigns that elevate our brand identity across various platforms. You will work closely with the Head of Creative and cross-functional teams to create engaging marketing materials, digital assets, and stunning location shoots.

About You

You have a keen eye for photography and design, a flair for fashion, and a passion for travel. Staying ahead of emerging travel, menswear and womenswear trends and understanding the importance of elegance and style is essential.

Technology forward, you will be active on channels such as Tik Tok and Instagram - understanding how emerging video and image trends affect the market.

Ideally you hold a BA in Design or similar. This role offers career development perfect for a recent graduate or someone with a year or two's experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Head of Creative and Digital Designer on a variety of briefs and outputs, including photo shoots, digital design, and our new flagship store in London.

  • Assist in the conceptualisation, execution, and production of shoot campaigns across photography and video and 3D animation.

  • Conduct visual research to build Carl Friedrik’s aspirational travel world.

  • Support the creative team by designing artwork, emails, and digital assets for social media, including graphics for video content.

  • Design pitch decks and presentations for internal and external use.

  • Manage images across our website, product pages, social channels, and in-store.

  • Assist the management of retouchers for our lifestyle and e-commerce imagery.

  • Direct e-commerce imagery through still-life photography and 3D rendering.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of visual composition and typography.

  • Experience with photography, video production, and retouching.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • A passion for travel, fashion, and design.

  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
