About the role

As a Merchandise and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for demand forecasting and planning the inventory replenishment for Carl Friedrik’s warehouse locations and sales channels.

Additionally, you will be responsible for updating and optimising website product information and placements in accordance with supply and demand. You will also give recommendations to improve our e-commerce strategy, report on key results, and ensure we follow and implement e-commerce best practices.


Your Responsibilities:

  1. E-Commerce Merchandising:
    1. Ensure adequate inventory levels by forecasting demand and production

    2. Support e-commerce operations by supervising inventory allocation for order fulfilment

    3. Implement site merchandising updates based on inventory and marketing calendar, update and audit shipping dates, featured products, website and product copy, discounts

    4. Provide reports and use insights to identify trends and suggest recommendations to the team

    5. Monitor performance and stock shortages and provide suggestions for process improvement to the team

  2. Inbound logistics:
    1. Manage relationships with the suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of merchandise

      1. Plan inbound logistics and book inbound and co-shipmen

Job requirements

At Carl Friedrik we have a high-powered and talented team. We’d be glad to welcome you to our team if you:

  • Have 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce or retail businesses

  • Have hands-on experience in managing and maintaining e-commerce websites

  • Degree from a top university

  • Fluent in English

  • Great with organisation and time management

  • Have great analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Focused on process improvement based on data insights
